Solar Panels on MGM Parking Garage

Los Angeles, California (CA), US
Century City's MGM tower is made amends to its enormous carbon footprint by installing 1,408 solar panels--covering more than an acre--on the top of its parking structure. The panels will generate 570,095 kWh of energy and eliminate 277 metric tons of CO2 emissions, which is equivalent to 31,452 gallons of gasoline or 92 acres of trees. According to the press release, the building's owner, Constellation, Inc., wants to take steps toward a greener MGM tower.

If you look at the parking structure nearby it has boxes of new solar panels waiting to be installed on that roof also.
