CORRECTION:
Anna Chapman was not here. "Richard Murphy" of New Jersey and "Michael Zottoli" of Virginia, two other spies, sat here and complained about espionage.

Ah yes, the inept Russian sleepers that were here 10 years and in the end had nothing to show for it. A sad, sad group. Clearly *NOT* Russia's best.

Judging by the high-value of the agents the Russians exchanged for the release of the New York 10, you'd have to believe they had far more to show for their time in the US than has yet been reported.

It's a mistake to think of them as "The Gang that Couldn't Shoot Straight." There's a reason why the U.S. government didn't want them brought to open trial. Perhaps too many in high places would have been embarrassed.
