St. John of Nepomuk's statue

St. John of Nepomuk's statue (StreetView)
John of Nepomuk (c. 1345 – March 20, 1393)[1] is a national saint of the Czech Republic, who was drowned in the Vltava river at the behest of King Wenceslaus.

Actually this is the fourth statue here. The first stood already in 1848 but was destroyed by a bunch of drunkards in 1893. Then a second one was made which lasted until 1921. The third one finished in September 1921 hardly lived for three decades and was removed at the end of the 1940s. The current one was inaugurated on 25 November 2011.
