The present situation is the result of these changes done in the last decade thanks to the direct contribution of the club that set up its own headquarters there.
In the summer of 1990, with the historical promotion of the club in First Level (Serie A), the Petitot Stand , the V.I.P. area and the press box were completely renovated.
The upgrading project kept in mind not only the club’s new demands and the fans, but also the original architectural elements that characterise the original stand façade.
In this way, the stadium was ready to host the debut of the "yellow-blues" of the Parma team in the highest level on 9 September 1990 against Juventus (1-2 for the "black-whites").
In 1992, the year of the first great success of the Parma team with the conquest of the Italian Cup (Coppa Italia), finally it was the turn of the North Curve , where the "heart" of the fan club sits, while a year later the South Curve was built.
