The Staffelberg is a 1771 ft. (540 meter) rock outcropping that was used a fort from Neolithic to Middle Ages. There is a rebuilt section of Celtic fort wall and a small chapel on top where religious hermit, Ivo Hennemann, lived in seclusion from 1859 to 1897.
