The Hahnenkamm Downhill Race, 3. weekend in January, is the most famous of the annual alpine skiing events of the male skiiers. Up to 40,000 spectators come every year to see the event. On friday the Super-G event takes place, saturday the downhill and sunday they have the slalom event. During the week before they have practice.

Some say winning the Hahnenkamm Race is like winning the Wimbledon in Tennis.

When you see it in Google Maps then turn around and you see the so called Startschuss. It the second steepest of all with a grade of 50%. Only Bormio in Italy is steeper.
