Built around 1300. 1492 Johan Rantzau, one of the mightiest men in medieval Denmark, was born here.

1526 his son Heinrich was born here too.He was the Governer of Denmark in the state of Schleswig-Holstein from 1556 to 1598.

1641 to 1643 it was demolished-
