He helms 70 shopping centers, including his crown jewel, the Derby Street Shoppes in Hingham. Weiner and longtime mentor Julian Cohen are partners in the ultraluxurious $278 million Mandarin Oriental hotel and residences.
In 2006 he was ranked the 26th wealthiest Bostonian, worth $700 million.
He has homes in Palm Beach, Fl. and Osterville, Ma.
