"Lefty" was a major league pitcher for six different teams from 1965 to 1988. His most acclaimed years were with the Philadelphia Phillies from 1972-1986. Carlton compiled the fourth most strikeouts ever and also won the NL Cy Young Award four times. He was inducted into to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1994.
