This house was built in the early 1990s by billionaire Mexican TV tycoon Emilio Azcarraga Milmo. He died in 1997 and the house is now apparently owned by his billionaire son Emilio Azcarraga Jean.

This is also the site of the famed "Sunset Plaza Apartments", where many Hollywood stars lived in the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s. Azcarraga Milmo bought the apartment complex in 1987 and tore it down to build this house.
