Description:Suomenlinna (Sveaborg) fortress on the islands off Helsinki is one of the largest maritime fortresses in the world, once known as Gibraltar of the north. It was built in the middle of 18th century. Today Suomenlinna is included in UNESCO's list of World Heritage sites.
