Temple of Hephaestus

Temple of Hephaestus

Agrigento, Italy (IT)
In the distance, last on the imaginary line linking all the temples of the valley of the temple of Agrigento, is the Temple of Hephaistus (Vulcan), of which little remains. According to legend, the god of fire and the arts had a forge under Etna where he fashioned thunderbolts for Zeus, assisted by the Cyclops.
