The Berlin Clock, or also known as calculator clock, was invented in the early 1970th. by German Dieter Binninger and 1975 placed on Kurfürstendamm.

When you want to know what time it is by using it you have to look from above and go downwards.

On the top a circular blinking light shows the seconds, below then it's like followed:

Row 1: every 5th. hour.

Row 2: every 1 hour.

Row 3: every 5th. minute.

Row 4: every single minute.

So here you have to look at the lamps on and calculate: 2x5 + 1x1 : 9x5 + 3x1.

So here the clock is 11:48 AM

1996 it was taken down from it's place and moved here to the Europa Center.
