The New Berlin Diner (Birds Eye)
Formerly the site of a home, the property was purchased in 1934 by Joseph Molasso and his wife Theresa of Berlin. They moved their diner to this location. It consisted of a lunch car. A more modern White Horse Diner was built here in 1931. There have been many owners of the property. In May of 1968, George R. White incorporated the Berlin Diner. The diner closed in 1979 and the building was purchased by a collector and is now located in Massachusettes. The present diner was recently opened under new management.
