The Sinsen Interchange, Norways first roundabout

The East-West going Trondheimsveien dates back to the earliest 17th. century and in 1870 a North-South going road was built.

In the 1950. the traffic had increased so a plan to make it more safe was made. 1957 a roundabout was the result and was the first in Norway.
