The field hockey team christened Trager Stadium on Sept. 22, 2000, with a 3-2 win over Mid-American Conference rival Ohio University. Located in Cardinal Park, the artificial turf surface field is one of the few NCAA Division I venues dedicated solely to field hockey. Because of its state-of-the-art features, Trager Stadium has been selected as the host site for several events from conference championships to NCAA championships.
