Two Spanish Navy Santa Maria (Perry) class frigates

Two Spanish Navy Santa Maria (Perry) class frigates

Cádiz, Spain (ES)
The Santa Maria class of frigates are the Spanish Navy's designation for six locally built warships based on the Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigates of the United States Navy.

All of the Spanish FFG's have the length of the later Oliver Hazard Perry FFG's, and have a wider beam than the USN design, and therefore able to carry more top weight. Fin stabilizers are fitted.

Looks like these are in for a refit.
