Home to the Milwaukee Wave indoor soccer and UW-Milwaukee basketball teams. Before the Bradley Center was built next door in 1988, it was home of the NBA's Bucks, Marquette University basketball, and the IHL's Admirals minor league hockey team. The arena also hosts high school sports and various concerts and shows.

It was known as the Milwaukee Arena until 1974, when it was renamed the 'MECCA' (Milwaukee Exposition Convention Center and Arena). U.S. Cellular bought the naming rights in 2000.
