U.S. Mailboat

U.S. Mailboat

Lake Geneva, Wisconsin (WI), US
Also known as The Walworth, this is the only vessel of it's kind in the United States. Loaded with tourists, it delivers mail to about 60 homes along the shores of Geneva Lake for three months in the summer. In action since 1870, the boat does not stop as a mail carrier jumps onto each pier and jumps back on board at each mail box.
