Universal Postal Union headquarters

The Universal Postal Union (UPU) is an agency of the United Nations. It works to provide cooperation among the world's postal services. It was created on October 9, 1874, as a result of the Treaty of Bern. World Post Day is observed annually on October 9th. The agency currently works with 192 members.
