Met Val during my teenage years while living in Stratford,N.J. He dated my cousin Anita in 1963 prior to Val becoming Mr. America. He was always polite, friendly, smart and very athletic even for a body builder. Besides body building he also was a gymnast and use to entertain the younger guys with his skills. Not a show off just well trained with God Given Talent. He socialized mostly with Billy St. John Mr.( New Jersey)
