Van Cortlandt House Museum (Birds Eye)
Frederick Van Cortlandt built this house in 1748 for his family. It is the oldest building in The Bronx, New York City. The City of New York acquired the property in 1889. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1967 and became a National Historic Landmark in 1976.
