The property used to include the land below it, but it was subdivided years ago and sold---the house currently on that land is the one with the solar panels in your photo. When Van Heflin and his family lived in their house, they had a corral on that land with a lovely big horse named Gypsy living there. We often fed carrots to Gypsy. The corral was located across the corner of the lower lot, surrounded by Sunset Blvd., Tigertail, and Kenter Ave.
