Victoria Stadium - temp home of the Gibraltar national football team

In May 2013, The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) admitted Gibralter as a full member. The team played it friendlies at Victoria Stadium and its qualifiers in Faro, Portugal. The team will move into the new Europa Point Stadium in 2016. In its first official match on November 19, 2013 against Slovakia the team drew 0-0. Their first official home match at Victoria was lost to the Faroe Islands on March 1, 2014. their first official win came against Malta on June 5, 2014.

The team will compete in the UEFA European Championship in 2016.
