Warden House was built between 1922 and 1923 by famed architect Addison Mizner. The estate was built for William G. Warden, the Pittsburgh Coal Company chairman and Andrew Mellon associate.

The estate was renovated in 1980 and converted and broken up into 6 unit condominium.
