Transistor-shaped water tower at Bell Labs Holmdel complex, located on the front access road. During the time that the complex was an active research facility, from the early 1960's to the early 2000's, the water tower was an appropriate symbol of innovation for the facility.
The tower was supposedly built in 1962, when the original building was completed.
