It's difficult to articulate how weird it is to come upon Waverly Hills. Paralee Ln, the road leading to Waverly, is rarely used, goes up a steep hill, and is completely lined on both sides with thick foliage. You can't really see what's in front of you or to either side as you walk up the hill. Then seemingly out of nowhere and with no warning you are in a clearing and it's just all there in front of you all at once. It's as if this huge multi-story municipal building snuck up on you in the middle of the woods. It is completely intact structurally but utterly empty and there is not a single pane of glass in what has to be hundreds of windows. It is absolutely wild!
