WDBY (FM) "Kicks 105.5" Radio Communications Tower

Located in the village of Holmes, NY in the town of Pawling, NY and also located in part of Patterson, NY is a controversial radio communications tower. It was originally planned to be built in Patterson, NY, but many residents were against this and many other locations were looked at, until the one in Holmes was picked.

The Omni-directional antenna tower operates a radio frequency that transmits at the frequency, 105.5 MHz as well as 106.3 MHz (also on HD Radio). The frequency has had several owners since the station first went on the air, and is currently operated from Brookfield, Connecticut, mainly servicing the Danbury, Connecticut area. This is a class A facility with 3,000 Watts of effective radiated power. "Kicks 105.5" is a country music radio station licensed to Patterson, New York. A number of shows are broadcast throughout the day, including CMT Radio Live with Cody Alan, which is broadcast from 7PM-Midnight. The tower HAAT (Height Above Average Terrain) is 186 meters or 610.23622 feet.

The station is owned by Cumulus Media and broadcasts from a tower located in Patterson, NY near the Putnam/Dutchess county line. WDBY also operates a booster, WDBY-FM1 in Brookfield, Connecticut, which broadcasts with 1.2 kilowatts. Cumulus Licensing LLC’s license of WDBY expires on 06/01/2014.
