The images have been somewhat updated. Google Maps and Live Local have pics during construction of new Wembley. Yahoo Maps still shows old Wembley intact.

The Concert for Diana on 1st July 2007, which would have been Diana's 46th birthday, will be one of the first events to take place in the new Wembley Stadium.

This pic clearly shows the reason for the continuing problems with the pitch & it's construction. You can see that only a small part of the pitch was initially made available for works, whilst cranes & stadium construction eqpt still accessed the site to put the roof on. You cannot build the supposedly best pitch in the world a small piece at a time....as & when the builders decide to give up accessing across the areas.....oh dear.....!
