West Wetlands Solar Garden

The Yuma West Wetlands Solar Garden Power Plant was a vision between APS, the City of Yuma and the Heritage Foundation, to display the environmental ideals of the West Wetlands Park. The plant, which was completed in 2005, consists of 24 single-axis trackers tilted toward the south at a 30 degree angle. The output from one of the trackers is displayed in the ramadain front of the solar garden.
