Bill Helman '80 is a partner with Greylock, a venture capital firm focused on investments in technology, consumer internet, and health care. He joined Greylock in 1984 and has been a managing partner since 1997. He serves on the Board of The Ford Motor Company and Zipcar. In addition, he serves on the boards of Harvard Management Company, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation, the Broad Institute, the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, and the Steppingstone Foundation. He is also a member of the Board of Fellows at Harvard Medical School. Helman graduated from Dartmouth in 1980 and from Harvard Business School in 1984. As a trustee of Dartmouth since 2009, he chairs the board's Investment Committee.
