Originally build for industrialist William Starr Miller, who died shortly after this mansion was completed in 1814, later by David Mayer, founder of the David Miller Brewing Company, this mansion now serves as the Neue Gallerie New York, founded by Serge Sabarsky and Ronald Lauder.
