Winona is a historic train station in Winona, Minnesota served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system. It was originally built in 1888 by the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad. A former Milwaukee Road freight house also exists here. Winona has also had at least four former stations used by the Chicago and North Western Railroad.
Winona is served by Amtrak's daily Empire Builder, a train originally owned by the Great Northern Railway, which also had a station in Winona.
The station was nominated for inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places under Criterion A for its significance in transportation; it was listed on May 28, 2013, as the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railway Station.
