Description: Over 125 members of the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame are honored with plaques along the sidewalk east of the U.S. Cellular Arena. After the Hall of Fame was formed in 1951, a plaque for each member of the Hall was displayed inside of the Arena.

By the late 1990's, the Arena was running out of room for more plaques as the Hall's membership grew. In 2001, the plaques were moved to their new outdoor location where they could be viewed by everyone.
