This rectangular home, located in the Glen Echo Heights section of Bethesda, Maryland, was featured on Forbes website and on Yahoo! in an article on futuristic homes for sale. The editors rounded up a selection of futuristic abodes that challenge traditional McMansion layouts. Some are relatively new homes designed with green living in mind while others are the decades-old brick and mortar visions of celebrated artists.

This brightly-hued, rectangular 10,000-square foot manse, built in 2010, was designed by architect Robert M. Gurney, FAIA sits overlooking the Potomac River and boasts heated floors, glass bridges, a five-car garage and an infinity pool. There are 4 bedrooms,5 full bathrooms, and 2 half bathrooms. The home is currently for sale for $6,999,000. The home appears to be in the construction phase from when the images were taken in the BEV.
