Woodmen of the World filming locations included the lobby of the Woodmen Tower, the 19th floor Records and Actuary departments, an office that was constructed in the conference room on the 20th floor, and on 18th Street, just west of the Woodmen Tower. The office used as Schmidt's office is that of Mark Schreier, Woodmen vice president and chief actuary. 'About Schmidt' scenes were filmed in May 2001.
