World Largest Supported Flagpole

World Largest Supported Flagpole

Kijong-dong, Democratic People's Republic of Korea (KP)
This is supposedly the tallest supported flagpole in the world. It is located on the North Korean side of the DMZ (near Panmunjom) There used to be a rumor that Soldier of Fortune magazine was offering a $ 1,000,000 bounty for the flag, but this was just a rumor (SOF disclaimed it).

No longer the world's tallest. That honor would go to the Dushanbe Flagpole in Tajikistan.

On second thought. Tajikistan's is free standing, the North Korean is supported. The title of the entry states supported... So, nothing changes LOL.
