There is a trailer practically under the plane. As soon as I slowed to a stop a man stepped out of the trailer and watched me. I took the pictures anyway. I pulled up the road to the end to turn around and drove past and he continued to watch me until I'd pulled past.

There were other interesting things in the fields around this rig. There was one small rig just past the plane close to the road that held a wing from a plane.

Another stand on the far side of the plane from the road had a model on it. The model was about 5 feet long and looked like either a model of a airliner fuselage or a cruise missile.

Finally, there is a long straight shot back to another test area between two hills that looked like it had more test stands.

Also many HF and VHF antennas.

The road up to it is pretty scary. Very narrow, one-way. I'd hate to meet another vehicle on the way in or out. I was in a minivan and it barely fit in places. I can't imagine trucks carrying all this test equipment up there.
