Whaleback Lighthouse is now owned by the American Lighthouse Foundation and its local chapter, Friends of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse. A full restoration is planned, with the ultimate goal of public access via boat tours.

	This shot was taken from Great Island Common in New Castle, NH, during a powerful spring storm. It was raining heavily and the visibility was bad, which is why the quality of the photo isn't the best.
