aka: Nejrab Airbase. Presume this is the site referenced in the attached video link. Mig-29's based here; appears to be same type shot down. Missile shoot-down of Mi-8 heli also:
New imagery shows open pit, camp and airstip just to the north. Now operated by Shear Diamonds. Recently recovered 11,000 carats from previously mine ore. http://www.shearminerals.com/
Thanks for the link Dania. One picture on the link shows large stone blocks being removed. I'd suggest those pictures are taken in one of two quarries at: 33-40'; 36-52'.
Iran claims to have shot down an un-manned US drone in the area of the "Fordo" nuclear site.
The link (scroll down on screen) mentions Fordo; and has a picture of this site.
I was about to past the same link; until I played the video. Must be a technical glitch with CNN; as the video shows security forces controlling activity at a local hospital.
That's just one of many industrial lots in Hay River. Check the eastern side of the airport (3.8 km northeast of this location). I see (most of) Four DC-4's and one DC-3. Larger collection at the Yellowknife Airport (aka Jo-Raccick-Park).
Don't see any parts of a Power Plant here. No transformer yard or power line right of way. Can't think of any that park sailboats out front. Several Communication towers out back and just to the north. Bee boxes are square and grouped together. Ground monitoring wells (hydrocarbon contamination) is a suggestion - but too numerous and large an area? A historic air photo - or talking to a local would be my suggestion.
Check 2.7km NW. Sure looks like an 8 position SAM site with trenches dug to connect. Beside the (old?) Mirim Airfield. No aircraft - but a large neatly parked collection of vehicles on western part.
Check the link on VG's home page for post Ike imagery flown by aircraft. Loads as a Temporary Places layer. Click on/off the layer to see the damage and debris piles. Covers the coastal and inlet/bay areas. It's a large file.

Koyukuk is 240 miles southwest, and not even on the pipeline route.
Not sure how your description of Middle Yukon, Canada was accepted.
The coordinates are correct. Closest town is Coldfoot, Alaska.
