"Your mission is to find and create full, clear, thumbnail images of corporate logos. A McDonald's sign from a distance would be an example of what we don't want. A thumbnail with nothing but the logo and a uniform background is what we are looking for."
In the future instead of submitting a new map because the Thumbnail is incorrect, you can submit a new thumbnail using the appropriate button under "Update Imagery" above on the right. Your new thumbnail will show up after a moderator approves it.
As stated on the page used to submit thumbnails "Please do not submit Street View thumbnails for non-Street View maps. Additionally, do not submit regular Bing/Yahoo thumbnails for Street View maps."

"Spanning the river Welland, this carried the Spalding to March railway and according to sources was closed in 1982. A footbridge on the opposite side is also part of the structure."
For the Description, please do not copy a full article from another source. You may quote small passages from another source as long as they properly attributed.
If an appropriate Street View category is available, please don't use non Street View categories. For this map, instead of Land - Artwork - Sculpture it should be Art - Sculpture (Street View).
"We're also going to start cracking down on generic submissions (e.g. Mural, Statue, Car, Museum, etc.) Please use more descriptive titles so that people can search for them (e.g. Mural of a Monkey Eating, Statue of Bob Smith, Early Model Ford Mustang, Podunk Museum of Art, etc.) We may still accept the map but it won't be eligible for the safari."
There is no need to submit a new map if you submitted the wrong thumbnail. Look just above these comments on the right to see "Update Imagery". Just select the appropriate button to open the form for submitting a new thumbnail. Your new thumbnail will show up after moderator approval.
Safari submissions should be interesting art, sculpture, displays, interesting things, and follies. I'm not looking for generic fountains, poles, construction equipments, buildings, etc.
The blog post for the safari stays "if you can't get a very clear thumbnail, pass on it and go on to your next post. We're starting to get a lot of blurry thumbnails in which the item can't be made out. Those kind of miss the point of these safaris, which is to post cool stuff."
