This week we’re looking for dates. No, not THAT kind of date. We’re looking for things that you can associate with a date. A statue, home, picture or monument to a person whose birth date you know. A monument to an event which happened on a particular date. A structure that was opened, inaugurated, dedicated or destroyed on a particular date. The possibilities here are limitless. Just be sure to provide the date in the form of “June 2, 1901” in the description.
Post your finds to Street View – Photo Safari and any other category that applies. The safari will end at 0700 UTC on July 25.
HINT: Enter any date (e.g. “July 19” into Wikipedia for tons of examples of people and events associated with that date.)
