Photo Safari #23 - Flags

Welcome back to another photo safari!

This week your prey are flags in Street View. But there is a catch. State flags and national flags are ubiquitous. That would be too easy. So lets limit this to (1) flags of organizations, companies and cities and (2) flags of countries found outside their own country. For example a US flag in Germany is OK. A US flag in the US is not. We’ll ignore the sovereign implications of embassies in this instance so embassies are fair game. Karma for foreign flags in murals. And to loosen up the rules a bit antique national flags and murals of such will be accepted in their country of origin and gain karma!

Note: If you find the mother load of flags of one specific type (e.g. the flag of a specific company in front of every one of their 5000 franchises in the US) please don’t go overboard. Ten per company per participant should be OK. Three hundred of the same flag would be a bit tedious for all of us… posters, moderators and viewers alike. Thanks!

Post your finds to Street View – Buildings – Flags for credit.

Good luck and happy hunting!
