Return of the Old School All Google Maps Scavenger Hunt

Its been four years since we ran this Scavenger Hunt. Let’s soup it up and run it again with expanded categories!

We’re bringing you back to the roots of internet satellite imagery with a scavenger hunt focused entirely on the company that energized the industry — Google Maps Satellite imagery.

A list of the categories in the hunt for are here.

All valid submissions must be straight Google Maps Satellite imagery. No Bing, Yahoo, Birds Eye, Street View, Google Inside or Google 45 degree imagery. Just straight old school Google Maps.

The hunt starts on Wednesday November 19 at 00:00 PST, and will last 14 days until Tuesday, December 2 at 23:59 PST.
