A fire occurred shortly before midnight 7/12/2026 at Rong Beer Na Lat Phrao (โรงเบียร์ ณ ลาดพร้าว, lit. "Beer Hall of Lat Phrao"), a beer hall and live music venue in the Chatuchak district of Bangkok. The fire killed 30 and injured over 70, of whom 24 were reported to be in critical condition. The cause remains under investigation; city officials said an electrical short circuit in a ceiling-mounted air-conditioning unit was their initial assessment.

Archie Bunker's Place is an American television sitcom produced as a continuation of All in the Family. It aired on CBS from September 23, 1979 to April 4, 1983. This building served as the exterior of the the neighborhood tavern, Archie's Place. The interiors where of course filmed on a sound stage.

The George and Vulture is a London restaurant/chop house dating back to the 1600's. An inn has existed on the site since 1142. The G&V is best known for its association with the infamous Hellfire Club in the 1730's and Charles Dickens in the 1830's.

The Hellfire Club described several exclusive clubs for high society "rakes", or men of habitual immoral conduct. Members are said to have met here.

Dickens mentions the G&V in his 1837 novel The Pickwick Papers. Dickens also apparently drank there himself. Cedric Charles Dickens, the author's great grandson campaigned to save the G&V after threat of demolition.

Johnnie's Bar started life in 1928 as the Commercial Cafe owned by John and Mable Rose. By sometime in the 1940s it was Snell's Cafe and in the early 50s was Mary's Cafe. It was also a Greyhound Bus stop in the 1940s and 50s. John Bullock moved in, in the 60's and converted it into a bar called Johnnie's. He eventually bought the property in the 1980s. It is now run run by his son.

We buy all of our products locally and our Hamburger Patties are made fresh daily. In November of 1939, Henry “Heine” Boehmker and his wife Marie open Heine’s Cafe at 718 Pike St in the Lewisburg neighborhood of Covington, KY. In 1965, 26 years after opening, Heine’s Son and Daughter-in-Law, Herb and Thelma, buy Heine’s Cafe from Marie and rename it Herb n Thelma’s Tavern. In June of 1969, Herbert “Chip” Boehmker begins working at Herb & Thelma’s Tavern and 13 years later, in 1982 he takes over the reins of Herb n Thelma’s. In 2012, after 30 years of owning and running Herb n Thelma’s Tavern, Chip retires and sells the Tavern to noted Beer Historian, Richard Ritchie. On January 1st, 2015, The Fessler’s become the owners of Herb & Thelma’s and are currently running it today with the help of Family and Friends.

Noel Edmonds is an English television presenter, radio DJ, writer, producer, and businessman. Edmonds first became known as a disc jockey on Radio Luxembourg before moving to BBC Radio 1 in the UK, presenting the breakfast show for almost 5 years. He has presented various radio shows and light-entertainment television programmes for 50 years, originally working for the BBC, later Sky UK and Channel 4.

After presenting children's Saturday morning programme Multi-Coloured Swap Shop (1976–1982) and various other programmes for the BBC like Top of the Pops between 1972 and 1978 and Top Gear (1979-1980) regularly, he became best known for presenting Noel's House Party on BBC One for 8 years between 1991 and 1999. The show achieved 15 million viewers at its peak and originated the character of Mr Blobby. After a hiatus from broadcasting, Edmonds presented the game show Deal or No Deal on Channel 4 between 2005 and 2016.

The Three Crown pub is one of the many traditional British pubs in the maze of streets in this area of St. James’s.

The Three Crowns is a small pub on Babmaes Street in St. James's. It is dates form 1932 when the surrounding office block was built.

Inside the Three Crowns a feature is made of some latticed glass panes with stained borders which were saved from an earlier pub which was previously in the area.

The Goat Tavern is one of the many traditional British pubs in the maze of streets in this area of Mayfair. The origins of the pub name are unclear.

The Goat Tavern dates form 1878 when the frontage was extended. The pub is on the site of ‘Clarendon House’ and just off Bond Street. There has been a pub on the site since 1688

In addition to the more traditional pub sign outside the pub is displayed a large 3D representation of a goat.

The King’s Head pub is one of the many traditional British pubs in the maze of streets in this area of Mayfair.

The King’s Head is a large pub on the corner of Stafford Street and Albemarle Street in Mayfair. It is dates form 1870 although there has been a pub on the site since 1710. The building has National Heritage Grade II status.

The pub is close to Piccadilly, Old Bond Street and Green Park.

The Clarence pub is one of the many traditional British pubs in the maze of streets in this area of Mayfair.

It is claimed that there has been a pub on this site since 1724 which was originally known as ‘The Coach & Horses’.

The Pub’s present name derives either from the Duke of Clarence who went on to become King William IV in 1830 or the first-born son of the future Edward VII, Albert Victor.

The Pub Signs show the Duke of Clarence in the uniform of a Major in the Royal Hussars.

The Coach & Horses on Bruton Street in Mayfair. is an atmospheric pub with wooden beams and panelling.

There have been licensed premises on this site since 1738 but despite the appearance of the exterior it is not original and dates from 1933.

The Coach & Horse offers a welcome quiet refuge from the hustle-bustle of near the adjacent Bond Street retail area.

The pub has an unusual 3-dimensional pub sign with a red and yellow coach being pulled by a team of four black horses.

The Green Man pub close to the Edgware Road Underground Station in Paddington dates from 1720 although it was rebuilt in 1867.

It is claimed that The Green Man is the oldest licence premises still surviving on the Edgware Road.

In recent times the pub attracts a great deal pf passing trade due to it location near to the Underground Station and has a backpacker’s hostel upstairs.
