I wanted to post this traffic curiosity a very long time ago but I completely forgot about it. It has been eliminated some time between 2014 and 2018, I guess because it was very dangerous for locals used to right-hand traffic. They simply converted the left side of the road into parking places.

This part of the Tommy Thompson Trail crosses Fidalgo Bay Aquatic Reserve on a former railroad right-of-way. The trail is 3.3 mile blacktop trail that starts at The Port of Anacortes and ends at March Point near The Shell and Tesoro Refineries. The trail has great views of Mount Baker, Fidalgo Bay and lots of blue heron, especially when the tides are low.

On April 6, 1997, six teenagers ambushed the Lillelid family while at a rest stop and forced them to drive at gunpoint. The teenagers directed the Lillelids to stop along a deserted road. Once stopped, the four members of the family were ordered to line up along a ditch before being shot. The only survivor was two-year-old Peter Lillelid, who was seriously wounded.

All six teenagers were given consecutive life sentences for the murders.

He drove to this area and then, after pretending that the engine had seized up, stopped the vehicle and brutally beat Galina to death. This is the intersection of Clinton Drive and West Gore Road in southwest Erie, PA. Although this intersection was around long before Bill Clinton became the president of the United States with Al Gore as his vice president, it now provides an interesting combination.

The 1992 presidential campaign of Bill Clinton, then Governor of Arkansas, was announced on October 3, 1991, at the Old State House in Little Rock, Arkansas. After winning a majority of delegates in the Democratic primaries of 1992, the campaign announced that then-junior Senator from Tennessee, Al Gore, would be Clinton's running mate. The Clinton-Gore ticket went on to defeat Republican incumbent President George H. W. Bush and Vice President Dan Quayle in the presidential election on November 3, 1992, and took office as the 42nd president and 45th vice president, respectively, on January 20, 1993.

The route up Sani Pass starts at 1,544 m and climbs 1,332 m to an altitude of 2,876 m. The steep gravel road has gradients up to 1:3, which can be difficult to drive in bad weather and may be covered with snow and ice in winter. By South African law only 4x4 vehicles are allowed on the road. Occasionally, the remains of cars that did not succeed in navigating the pass's steep gradients and poor traction surfaces can be seen.

Albemarle Street in the Mayfair district of central London dates from 1684 when it was built by a syndicate of developers on land which had be bought from Christopher Monck the second Duke of Albemarle. It runs northwest from its junction with Piccadilly close to The Ritz Hotel.

Amongst notable former residents was Robert Hartley the 1st Earl of Oxford and the 1st Viscount Churchill was born at number 32.

In more recent times the street is home to several art galleries, offices, other small commercial undertakings as well as The Royal Institution and Brown’s Hotel.

The Hotel formerly stood on the eastern side of the street roughly where Cheadle Square Gardens are today.
