Millions of tires are sitting in the middle of the Sonoran Desert National Monument.
Between 3 million and 10 million of them are stacked in vast piles, lined up in rows more than 10 feet high.
The mounds of discarded rubber - believed to be the largest stockpile in the Southwest.
