1426m Summit – Ras Al Khaimah emirate of the United Arab Emirates (A6/RK-004)

On Saturday, 3rd August 2024, Paul A65/VA6MPM, a radio amateur, from Innisfail, AB, Canada, reached the summit of this peak in the Ras Al Khaimah emirate of the United Arab Emirates. He became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

Paul made 14 contacts in total working on the 2m, 20m, 17m and 15m amateur radio bands.
