The Bottero Flat Glass Division began over 40 years ago when Bottero was founded to engineer and produce glassworking machinery. Through research and development this Division has been involved in all phases of the Flat Glass Industry. Bottero products are exported in more than 50 countries in Europe, North and South Africa, North America, Latin America, the Middle East, the Far East and Australia.

There are a few Botteros around, some more related than others. It's not a common name, but not uncommon either. Fabrizo Bottero is the executive chef for Cuisinart.

The glass people are distent relatives. My dad is in touch with some of them and visits Italy now and then...
