On Sunday 31st October 2022, JA1DFO/1 and 7L1WCX/1, two Japanese radio amateurs reached the summit of this mountain and became the first to activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
They made 26 contacts in total working on the 70cm and the 40 15 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of this mountain is 1700 metres (4477 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
